This recipe is from a website that is no longer online. To make it easier for us to find again in the future, and for others to find it too, we are posting it here.

The original author got the recipe from an old school friend, made it the day before Christmas Eve and due to the fudge being so tasty had to make another batch just two days later

Ingredients

  • 3 decilitre sugar
  • 3 decilitre cream
  • 1 decilitre syrup
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g chopped up milk chocolate (or another favourite chocolate)

Method

Heat up the sugar, cream and syrup to 120 degrees centigrade in a pan (this has to be done to exactly 120 degrees otherwise it ends up being more like toffee or just crumbles).

Once it reaches 120 degrees then mix in the honey and butter and let it boil for a further 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and quickly mix in 100g finely chopped milk chocolate

Pour out onto a tin lined with baking paper that is roughly 15 x 20 cm.

Once it has cooled chop into pieces and keep in the fridge

Eat and enjoy!
